Fiat S.p.A, or Fiat Group or simply Fiat, is an Italian car manufacturer which is featured in the Gran Turismo series. They debuted in the series with six cars in Gran Turismo 2 and has appeared in all subsequent mainline releases.

Fiat (Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino) were founded in 1899 in Torino, Italy by a group of investors including Giovanni Agnelli. They are currently the largest car manufacturer in Italy, and the 6th largest in the world.

Fiat are famous for the production of several models, including the Fiat 500, Punto, Panda and Stilo. The manufacturer is also famous for owning other Italian automakers such as Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Ferrari, and it's sister company, Maserati.
